This year’s edition of the Nairobi Innovation Week is fast approaching.
The NIW 2022 will be held from April 26 to 28, 2022 at Great Court, Main Campus.
The University of Nairobi will be collaborating with a large number of partners and stakeholders to organize and execute the NIW event.
This year’s theme is “Innovation for Transformation and Impact in the society.”
This theme endeavors to celebrate both local and international innovations while enhancing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The NIW will be guided by cross-cutting innovations and the Big-Four agenda that is Manufacturing, Food Security, Affordable Housing and Health. In addition it will contribute towards a vibrant, productive and sustainable innovation in the society.
Several parties including students, researchers, start-up or small enterprise; innovators or entrepreneurs thinking about starting a business; an investor or venture capitalist will benefit from the event.
The NIW will help build University linkages, mainstream innovation and entrepreneurship in institutions of higher learning and create awareness on intellectual protection of research output and the commercialization of innovations.
